Description:

The Solution Engineer will serve as the primary pre-sales technical contact for the Zip solution suite.
This role involves helping prospects understand the value of Zip's application and its fit within their procurement, finance, and technology landscape.
The Solution Engineer will collaborate with account executives and sales managers to drive deals to closure.
Responsibilities include conducting discovery, demonstrating solutions, handling questions, and overcoming objections.
The role requires providing feedback to influence product development and improve sales processes.
The Solution Engineer will ensure a seamless transition from sale to onboarding by communicating customer needs to post-sales consultants.
Requirements:
Candidates must have at least 3 years of mid-market B2B solutioning experience in a fast-paced organization.
The ability to tailor messaging to various audiences, from individual contributors to C-level executives, is essential.
Strong business and process acumen is required.
Candidates should possess strong solution selling skills and be able to articulate the value of software solutions.
Excellent discovery skills are necessary to lead customers through conversations to uncover pain points and value.
Knowledge of software integration principles, including iPaaS and APIs, is required.
A strong solutioning mindset focused on helping customers envision how the solution meets their needs is essential.
Candidates must be skilled in troubleshooting technical issues and be self-starters who can quickly grasp new technology.
