The Solution Engineer will play a critical role in helping accounting firms effectively use the platform and maximize their value from day one.
The role requires a strong understanding of tax workflows and the challenges firms face, with a focus on hands-on client interaction.
Responsibilities include delivering compelling demos, guiding clients through onboarding, and ensuring they understand how the platform fits into their tax processes.
Success criteria include increasing new client conversion, improving implementation success, driving client confidence through effective training, and identifying early risks.
The position involves delivering tailored demos, supporting sales, creating onboarding playbooks, and providing escalation support.
The Solution Engineer will also lead the transition between Sales and Account Managers post-contract signing and provide feedback to improve the onboarding experience.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5–8+ years of experience in tax technology, implementation, or solution consulting within a SaaS company.
A deep familiarity with tax workflows, multi-entity structures, and client expectations around deadlines is essential.
Strong experience in live demo environments and delivering impactful client training is required.
Excellent communication skills, particularly in teaching and simplifying complex systems, are necessary.
Experience in supporting onboarding, managing escalations, and helping clients navigate change is important.
Knowledge of CRM and project management tools like HubSpot or Asana is required.
Exceptional attention to detail with an empathetic and proactive approach to client success is crucial.
