The Solution Engineer is a technical resource that bridges the gap between sales and technology by performing in-depth technical demonstrations of the Ottimate solution.
This role involves contributing to sales presentations, workflow modeling, solution design, and ensuring customers understand the value of the platform.
The Solution Engineer will support the sales team to close deals and achieve revenue goals by effectively communicating the benefits of Ottimate's technology.
Responsibilities include leading the technical sales process, maintaining expert-level knowledge of the application, building and presenting demos, answering technical questions, and assisting the sales team with pre-sales discovery.
The role requires gathering customer feedback, collaborating with internal resources, and staying current on industry trends.
The Solution Engineer will also attend trade shows and user conferences as needed.

Requirements:

A BA/BS degree with 3+ years of experience in a product/technical role as a SaaS solution engineer or sales consultant in payments automation or ERP integration is required.
Preferred qualifications include Accounting, Finance, or CPA credentials.
Candidates must possess excellent technical aptitude and the ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong presentation and public speaking skills, along with significant business acumen, are essential for influencing customer stakeholders.
Demonstrated success in leading integrations with ERP systems is necessary.
Candidates should be strong problem solvers with the ability to navigate obstacles and design innovative solutions.
Highly organized individuals who can manage their time efficiently and drive results are preferred.
Familiarity with B2B technology applications and payments technology platforms is required.

The compensation for this position is $120K plus variable pay.
