Description:

• HCL Software is seeking a BigFix Technical Advisor in Italy to drive new license, subscription, support, and services revenue for BigFix.
• The role involves performing in a technical pre-sales and post-sales capacity for BigFix and Intelligent Operations with clients.
• The individual will attend meetings with potential clients to determine technical and business requirements and ensure all necessary information is collected prior to producing a solution.
• Responsibilities include providing technical solutions professionally and within agreed timeframes, creating and delivering technical presentations, and delivering training on solutions.
• The advisor will create internal design configuration documentation, work with Product Management and Engineering to provide feedback, and build productive relationships internally and externally.
• The role also involves performing technical development for solutions, deploying installations and configurations, understanding business drivers and risks, and selling technical solutions with professionalism.
• The advisor will provide accurate and timely management information, including activity reports and project forecasts, and create or deliver technical demos.

Requirements:

• The ideal candidate should have three or more years of combined hands-on systems administration, endpoint operations/management, and cybersecurity knowledge.
• Experience can come from a career in IT, Sales Engineering with a vendor, or both.
• Knowledge across multiple operating systems and some scripting background is highly valued.
• The candidate should demonstrate initiative in creating solutions and apply creative problem-solving skills for the benefit of customers and HCL business.
