Remote Solution Engineer (Remote, Western US)

Description:

• The Dynatrace Solution Engineer will play a crucial role in supporting the sales team by providing technical expertise on Dynatrace and Advanced Observability.
• Responsibilities include conducting demos showcasing Dynatrace's unique solutions, managing remote POCs, building relationships with customers, and completing RFIs & RFPs.
• The role involves collaborating with various teams within Dynatrace, such as innovation labs, Expert Services consultants, CSMs, and marketing.
• The Solution Engineer will work with sales representatives to identify new sales opportunities and participate in PoC creation and cloud architecture discussions.
• They will present Dynatrace's vision to C-suite executives, provide technical guidance throughout the sales cycle, and gather customer feedback to improve product offerings.
• The position requires managing multiple projects simultaneously, supporting other SEs, and continuously enhancing personal and team capabilities.
• The Solution Engineer will also work with partners, acting as a technical point of contact and trusted advisor.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent education/experience is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the observability or observability SE space.
• Proficiency in web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and programming languages such as Java, Python, .NET, PHP, Go, Node.js.
• Advanced knowledge of Operating Systems (OS), including Windows and Linux.
• Experience with DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering practices, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and modern technologies like containers, Kubernetes, Serverless functions, CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with automation tools like Ansible, Puppet, Terraform, etc.
