Description:
Sonio is seeking a Solution Engineer to ensure the successful technical evaluation, implementation, and integration of their solutions with US clients.
The role involves conducting technical evaluations of client needs and preparing and executing implementation/integration plans.
The Solution Engineer will provide support for edge installation and configuration.
This position serves as the main technical point of contact for clients, providing level 2 technical support to resolve incidents.
The role requires close collaboration with the Product Specialist and Account Manager to ensure customer success.
Requirements:
Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical role, ideally with exposure to software engineering principles.
The ability to understand the solution end-to-end and support clients in resolving incidents is essential.
A strong understanding of basic web technologies and successful experience with Web APIs is required.
Candidates should be able to run SQL queries in relational databases.
Exposure to at least one programming language such as Python, Ruby, Go, JavaScript, Rust, Elixir, Java, C, or C++ is necessary.
The ability to interact confidently with clients and provide clear, empathetic technical support is crucial.
Strong communication skills, empathy, patience, and a proactive attitude are important for this role.
Candidates must be able to work independently, manage deadlines, and handle pressure when necessary.
