Description:

Veeam is seeking a Solution Engineer for the Veeam Vault product, working remotely in the United Kingdom.
The role involves collaborating closely with the sales team to promote Veeam's Vault offerings to end-users and partners.
Responsibilities include conducting live and virtual presentations, translating business objectives into technical requirements, and providing technical expertise on the Vault solution.
The Solution Engineer will also work with Product Management to relay customer feedback and support lead generation activities such as events and webinars.
The position requires guiding others in resolving complex issues and providing pre-sales support to customers evaluating Veeam software.

Requirements:

Candidates should have demonstrated solution sales and/or technical pre-sales experience.
A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Cloud Native technologies, preferably with Microsoft Azure.
Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure services, including Azure VMware, Azure VMs, Azure SQL, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Storage accounts, and Azure Backup is required.
Knowledge of Microsoft Azure security best practices, including IAM policies, VNET design, and network security is essential.
The ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment is necessary, along with being a motivated self-starter.
Excellent time management, written, and verbal communication skills are required.
Expertise in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and understanding of AWS VPC configuration is also needed.
Candidates should have experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions in the cloud and migration patterns from on-premises to cloud.
