Description:
The Solutions Architect is a client-facing technical expert at SaaSquatch, an impact.com brand.
This role involves helping potential clients learn about the platform, architecting unique solutions, and assisting in implementation.
The Solutions Architect collaborates with Account Executives during the sales process to assess technical requirements and create a rough blueprint for proposed programs.
After contract signing, the Solutions Architect works with an Implementation Manager to refine the blueprint and guide clients through the implementation of SaaSquatch.
Responsibilities include being a strategic partner to Account Executives and Implementation Managers, uncovering technical details, producing documented technical solutions, delivering presentations, and ensuring blockers are identified and mitigated.
The role requires acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for technical requirements, including data mapping, API integrations, and application deployment strategies.
The Solutions Architect coordinates technical tasks and milestones with clients and internal colleagues and collaborates with Product teams on bug fixes and feature requests.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in engineering, marketing, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent working experience is required.
A solid technical background with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies is necessary.
A proven track record in selling complex SaaS solutions is essential.
Excellent communication and technical leadership skills, along with demonstrated tenacity and persistence, are required.
The ability to forge strong, long-lasting relationships with senior executives is important.
Attention to detail and a passion for documenting technical specifications throughout the project lifecycle are crucial.
The ability to relate technical information to non-technical customers is necessary.
Knowledge and experience with technologies such as REST APIs, GraphQL, Javascript, data structures (CSV, JSONL, JSONata), Salesforce Flow Builder, Zapier, Asana, and running or setting up Referral and Loyalty programs are preferred.
The ability to balance team-based and self-driven projects is important.
Experience in delivering enterprise software projects involving multiple stakeholders is a bonus.
