Description:

TradeCentric Solutions Architects are responsible for establishing a trusted technical relationship with clients to elicit detailed requirements for their business needs and existing technology stack.
The goal is to create detailed solution designs for customer approval prior to implementation.
This position reports to the VP of Sales.
The base salary for this role ranges from $90,000 to $110,000, with total potential earnings of up to $150,000, based on skills, experience, and qualifications.
This role is 100% remote, with a preference for candidates based in Charlottesville, Virginia; Minneapolis, Minnesota; Raleigh, North Carolina; Chicago, Illinois; or Boston, Massachusetts, but open to other locations.
Essential functions include working with customers to elicit functional and system requirements, collaborating with Sales and Professional Services to define and scope cost estimates, maintaining expert-level knowledge of the TradeCentric Platform, and preparing presentations of identified solutions.
The Solutions Architect will also produce and maintain architecture assets and contribute customer insights to the TradeCentric Product Roadmap.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s Degree or a combination of education, experience, and superior performance is required.
Candidates must have a detailed understanding of B2B e-commerce and e-procurement across various industry verticals.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to connect business operations with technical data flows are essential.
A strong programmatic understanding of message formats, including cXML, JSON, X12, and delimited data files, is required.
Candidates must also have a strong programmatic understanding of transmission formats such as HTTP REST/SOAP, sFTP, AS2, and AS4.
The ability to communicate effectively with clients at varying levels of both business and technical expertise is necessary.
