Remote Solutions Architect

Description:

• Snowplow is seeking a Solutions Architect to join their Professional Services team, reporting to the Director of Professional Services.
• The role involves engaging with customers to understand their business needs and designing tailored solutions using Snowplow's products.
• Responsibilities include onboarding new customers, delivering tailored workshops, advising on tracking implementation strategies, and creating customer-facing documentation.
• The Solutions Architect will collaborate with the Professional Services team to develop technical artifacts that support organizational success.
• The position requires developing domain expertise in key verticals through customer collaborations and industry research.
• The role also involves identifying product feedback from customers to influence the product roadmap and training newer team members.
• The Solutions Architect will help with marketing events and webinars to develop their personal brand.

Requirements:

• Candidates must possess deep emotional intelligence and the ability to read stakeholders effectively.
• A solid understanding of the data space, including cloud infrastructure, database technologies, and visualization tools, is required.
• Experience with complex software products, particularly in designing solutions and gathering requirements, is essential.
• A passion for addressing business challenges through technology and data is necessary.
• Excellent communication skills are required, including the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
• Experience with JavaScript in a frontend environment, preferably with Snowplow or Google Tag Manager, is needed.
• Previous experience using Snowplow, either the BDP or open source version, is preferred.
• A basic understanding of SQL and experience with behavioral data is required.
