Description:
Analytica is seeking a remote Solutions Architect to lead and manage a high-profile team focused on the architecture and implementation of data science and machine learning efforts.
As a core member of the team, you will work with a diverse group of professionals to address solution matters, identify nuisances, and propose alternatives.
Responsibilities include leading architectural design and technical planning, developing and implementing modern techniques and technologies such as Cloud (AWS), Software Defined Networking (SDN), AIOps, AI/ML, Elasticsearch, and Kafka.
You will lead the development and enhancement of a shared enterprise data environment that meets various Analytics, Reporting, and Data Science federal requirements.
The role involves developing and maintaining complex solution architectures and design documentation, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, integrating new technologies, and evaluating tools for high-quality delivery.
You will maintain a forward-looking perspective on industry trends and emerging technologies, support innovation planning, and analyze government customer requirements to develop system requirements specifications.
Responsibilities also include data gathering, requirements definition and analysis, use case development, gap analysis, and providing measurable input to new solutions and processes.
You will engage with clients using various information gathering techniques to collect complex business data requirements from Business teams.
The role requires analyzing requirements in relation to available data, assessing source system data quality, and analyzing schemas to meet performance requirements.
You will design and maintain a master data management strategy, oversee database administration and engineering, and ensure high-quality data deliverable artifacts are provided.
Additionally, you will support the proposal response process, including solutioning, proposal writing, and code challenges.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Science, or a related field is required.
Candidates must have 8+ years of experience developing enterprise data warehouse or lake solutions.
A minimum of 5 years of experience with SDLC methodology and Agile project management, particularly in working with the Federal Government, is necessary.
Experience leading strategy development, architecture creation, design, development, and delivery of data-driven capabilities within the IRS environment is required.
Candidates should have experience with data architectures and pipelines for structured, unstructured, and semi-structured data across various data repositories and data lakes.
A broad knowledge across the entire analytics lifecycle, particularly around data engineering, databases, governance, and end-user workflows, is essential.
Experience with front-end technologies, UI/UX design, Agile DevSecOps tools, and CI/CD pipelines is required.
Proficiency in multiple programming languages, cloud computing, distributed systems, and microservices architecture is necessary.
A strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum ceremonies, and experience with Agile work management tools such as JIRA and Confluence is required.
Demonstrated knowledge of data science and machine learning concepts, along with experience working with data scientists in the design and implementation of machine learning applications, is essential.
AWS Certification is preferred.
Candidates must be U.S. citizens and possess an active IRS Clearance.
