Description:
The Solutions Architect position at Smile Digital Health is a remote, full-time role focused on customer success engineering and implementations.
The role involves demonstrating, designing, and delivering solutions across the technical and business capabilities of Smile’s offerings to various stakeholders including customers, partners, and internal teams.
Responsibilities include providing architecture support services, ensuring effective sales support, collaborating on RFP responses, and maintaining sales demos for customer engagements.
The Solutions Architect will work closely with engineering and product teams to provide high-level solution designs and support implementation architecture as needed.
The position also involves conducting architecture review board (ARB) sessions, developing architecture recommendations, and maintaining various architectural artifacts and playbooks.
The role requires compliance with privacy, security, and confidentiality policies, and accurate reporting of working hours in the project management tool.
Requirements:
A post-secondary education in Computer Science or a related field is required.
Candidates should have 5-10+ years of experience in the technology field, demonstrating proficiency as a thought leader.
Experience with electronic information exchange, preferably in the healthcare industry, is necessary.
A solid understanding of various standards, programming tools, and development platforms, including microservices architecture, is required; HL7 FHIR experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build partnerships with clients and internal teams at all levels are essential.
Exceptional problem-solving, critical thinking, communication, and presentation skills are required.
Candidates must be able to work in a multi-functional team environment with rapidly changing priorities.
A highly analytical mindset with the ability to see both the big picture and details is necessary.
Formal IT architecture certifications, such as TOGAF, are beneficial but not required.
