Remote Solutions Architect

Description:

• Grass Valley is seeking a Solutions Architect to assist customers in implementing the Grass Valley Agile Media Processing Platform (AMPP) workflows.
• The Solutions Architect will engage in deep architectural discussions and design sessions with customers to create top-notch solutions proposals based on AMPP technology.
• Responsibilities include facilitating and documenting Field Trials (Proof of Concepts) in the customer’s network, defining technical strategies for maximizing operation on the AMPP platform, and building relationships with senior technical individuals to advocate for AMPP.
• The role involves providing architectural guidance on running applications efficiently on the AMPP platform, contributing to Grass Valley’s cloud and managed services growth globally, and creating solution designs based on customer workflow needs.
• The Solutions Architect will also share best-practice knowledge among the AMPP solutions architects and deliver technical presentations to customers as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Advanced Degree preferred relevant to the role or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in the broadcast and/or Media & Entertainment space, ideally within an international organization.
• 1+ years of experience in designing, implementing, or consulting on applications and infrastructures supporting cloud-based workflows.
• Direct experience in the architecture of Public/Private/Hybrid Cloud and DevOps platforms.
• Cloud certifications preferred, such as AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification, AWS Architect Certification, Azure Fundamentals, and Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
• Proficiency in project governance, PC applications, SalesForce.com, and media supply chain knowledge.
• Excellent communication skills, customer management skills, and ability to think critically and develop unique strategies.
• Business-level English proficiency plus knowledge of the local language.
