Remote Solutions Architect

Description:

• The Solutions Architect position at Cash App involves working within the Cash Cloud Platform, CloudPlat, to deliver a reliable, scalable, and secure platform for Cash App products.
• The role requires collaborating with stakeholders to refine the platform vision and strategies, understanding stakeholder needs through various methods, and brainstorming solutions with engineering counterparts.
• Responsibilities include prioritizing issues, managing roadmaps, defining success metrics, planning and managing launches, leading communication efforts, promoting platform achievements, and participating in vendor management.
• The position also involves working within a globally distributed team and ensuring customer-centric approach in platform development.

Requirements:

• The candidate must have a minimum of 4 years of experience as a Technical Product Manager, AWS Solutions Architect, or Cloud Architect.
• Strong AWS experience is required, along with expertise in one of the core platform disciplines such as Kubernetes, Istio service mesh, Kafka, MySQL/Dynamo databases, or infrastructure provisioning.
• Experience in drawing insights from data, working with engineers in developer tools or infrastructure products, and communicating effectively with internal and external partners is necessary.
• The candidate should have strong customer empathy, experience in managing cross-functional working groups, and shaping product direction based on customer needs.
