Remote Solutions Architect - ANZ

Description:

• Wasabi is seeking a Solutions Architect with experience in AWS or other public cloud object storage to join their dynamic team.
• The role involves leveraging existing storage and network experience while understanding large-scale system operations.
• The ideal candidate will work in an environment that values automation to reduce operational workload.
• Responsibilities include exploring the S3 storage protocol, engaging with engineers worldwide, and providing pre-sales technical consulting to channel partners.
• The Solutions Architect will collaborate with channel sales teams to align technical solutions with business goals and act as a liaison between partners, customers, and internal teams.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in support engineering, sales engineering, or solution architecture roles.
• A strong understanding of public cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is required.
• Experience with protocols like S3, TCP, UDP, and SSL is necessary.
• Hands-on experience with public cloud object storage services and policies, including AWS S3 and AWS IAM policies, is essential.
• A basic understanding of reseller/channel business models is preferred.
• Experience with mission-critical, 24×7 systems is required.
• Candidates should have a foundational understanding of Linux and programming fundamentals.
• Experience in presenting to customers and partners is necessary.
• The ability to multi-task across various activities and projects is essential.
• A demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in a fast-paced environment is required.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or relevant work experience is necessary.
