Remote Solutions Architect AWS / Cloud Engineer

Description:

• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions primarily using Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Work closely with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Architect scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions on AWS.
• Develop cloud strategies including cost optimization, security, governance, and automation.
• Lead the implementation of cloud infrastructure, provisioning, configuring, and deploying AWS services.
• Plan and execute cloud migration projects with minimal disruption and optimal performance.
• Ensure cloud architectures meet security and compliance requirements.
• Develop and implement CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automation tools.
• Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance for high availability, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with development teams, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
• Maintain detailed documentation of cloud architectures, processes, and configurations.
• Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and identify opportunities for innovation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or solutions architecture.
• Proven experience with AWS Services, cloud migration, automation, and DevOps practices.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional required, additional AWS certifications are a plus.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles, infrastructure as code tools, containerization, scripting skills, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Preferred qualifications include experience with other cloud platforms, hybrid cloud environments, networking, security, compliance frameworks, serverless architectures, and microservices.
