Description:
As a Solutions Architect at Apollo, you will help major product teams transition from proof of concept to production with a federated graph.
You will join a talented team focused on designing GraphQL-based distributed architectures and establishing industry best practices.
Your role will involve serving as a trusted technical advisor and advocate for enterprise customers, leveraging your knowledge of APIs and software architecture.
You will create innovative solutions to accelerate customer adoption of GraphQL and federated graphs, delivering tangible business value.
You will communicate customer feedback to the Product and Engineering teams to shape the future of the Apollo Graph Platform.
You will work directly with engineering teams at various companies to educate them on the Apollo Graph Platform and assist in rolling out a federated graph.
You will act as a key technical adviser for Apollo enterprise customers throughout their GraphQL journey, from initial proof of concept to production and beyond.
You will collaborate with customers to understand their goals, technical architecture, and the best strategies for implementing Apollo.
You will devise solutions to support federated graph adoption and identify opportunities to maximize business value for customers.
You will contribute to improvements in documentation, OSS libraries, and the platform based on customer feedback and issues.
Requirements:
You must be passionate about helping teams succeed and value empathy in customer interactions.
You should have a technical background in enterprise data delivery, particularly with APIs and ideally GraphQL.
You need to be capable of creating code samples, reviewing and advising engineers, and building trusted relationships with other engineers.
A track record of delivering timely results is essential, demonstrating organization and follow-through.
You should possess a creative, βcan doβ attitude and find innovative solutions to obstacles while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Passion for mentoring and collaborating with others is a must.
Experience with Apollo GraphOS and Apollo Federation is a nice-to-have.
Benefits:
The salary range for this position is $109,820 - $129,200 per year, with variable compensation and equity options.
Apollo offers a choice of three Anthem Blue Cross medical plans for U.S. employees, with additional options for California residents.
Dental and Vision benefits are provided through Sun Life Financial.
This is a remote position that can be performed from anywhere in the U.S. or Canada, working CST hours.
