Remote Solutions Architect

Description:

• The Solutions Architect role is essential for supporting the growth of Trio’s client-facing technology and business enterprise applications.
• This position involves collaborating with business stakeholders and IT leadership to define how systems and software applications can enhance business activities, workflows, and processes.
• The Solutions Architect is responsible for designing and delivering overall technical architecture solutions that meet both functional and non-functional requirements.
• The role includes selecting appropriate technologies, platforms, and infrastructure to create scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions.
• Key responsibilities include working collaboratively with stakeholders to identify, design, and develop software solutions, translating business requirements into solution designs, and owning the overall technical architecture design and delivery.
• The Solutions Architect will resolve complex technical issues during design and implementation phases and provide guidance to development teams.
• The position requires designing and implementing best practices, enforcing technical standards in coding, testing, and deployment, and owning the technology deployment roadmap.
• Responsibilities also include assessing the financial impact of architectural choices and documenting architectural designs, processes, and technical decisions.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering is required.
• Candidates must have 7+ years of relevant work experience, including technical and business analysis experience, preferably in the software industry (SaaS or other), energy, or sustainability sectors.
• 7+ years of experience configuring and developing in Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Microsoft F&O ERP, Power Apps, PowerBI, or comparable applications is required, with SharePoint experience being a strong plus.
• Experience in designing and implementing cloud-first solutions in a public cloud environment (such as Azure, AWS, or GCP) is necessary.
• Candidates should demonstrate the ability to design and deliver highly integrated software solutions and translate business needs into requirements and systems design documents.
• Effective meeting and workshop facilitation skills in both one-on-one and group settings are required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, along with experience in a highly integrated software applications and data warehouse environment.
