Description:
The Solutions Architect will serve as the liaison between Enterprise customers and Cloud Engineers at Poolside.
This role involves onboarding new customers to ensure they can install, manage, and monitor Poolside's platform effectively.
The Solutions Architect will work with customers to deliver a scalable Poolside product by customizing deployment scripts to fit specific customer infrastructure requirements.
Responsibilities include supporting the engineering team in designing and implementing performant, secure, and scalable solutions while building a standard Poolside platform.
The position requires collaboration with customers to adapt cloud architecture to their needs while ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
The role also involves creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for architectures, configurations, procedures, and customer interactions.
The Solutions Architect will lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex technical issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
Familiarity with distributed systems, data pipelines, and cloud services such as GCP, AWS, and Azure is essential.
Requirements:
Candidates must have experience collaborating with customers to adapt cloud architecture while ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
A strong background in creating and maintaining documentation for architectures, configurations, procedures, and customer interactions is required.
Experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues is necessary.
Candidates should be comfortable with distributed systems, including data pipelines, distributed processing, fault tolerance, and performance optimization.
Familiarity with message queues and event-driven architectures, such as Kafka and Google Pub/Sub, is important.
Experience with cloud managed services and storage on platforms like GCP, AWS, or Azure is required.
Candidates should have experience with developer experience tools, including CI/CD pipelines and containerization in production environments.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Go, Ruby, or Python is a plus, but candidates from other languages are also welcome.
Knowledge of DevOps tools such as Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and monitoring tools like Grafana, Prometheus, or Datadog is essential.
