Description:

  • The Solutions Architect will serve as the liaison between Enterprise customers and Cloud Engineers at Poolside.
  • This role involves onboarding new customers to ensure they can install, manage, and monitor Poolside's platform effectively.
  • The Solutions Architect will work with customers to deliver a scalable Poolside product by customizing deployment scripts to fit specific customer infrastructure requirements.
  • Responsibilities include supporting the engineering team in designing and implementing performant, secure, and scalable solutions while building a standard Poolside platform.
  • The position requires collaboration with customers to adapt cloud architecture to their needs while ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
  • The role also involves creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for architectures, configurations, procedures, and customer interactions.
  • The Solutions Architect will lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex technical issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Familiarity with distributed systems, data pipelines, and cloud services such as GCP, AWS, and Azure is essential.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have experience collaborating with customers to adapt cloud architecture while ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
  • A strong background in creating and maintaining documentation for architectures, configurations, procedures, and customer interactions is required.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues is necessary.
  • Candidates should be comfortable with distributed systems, including data pipelines, distributed processing, fault tolerance, and performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with message queues and event-driven architectures, such as Kafka and Google Pub/Sub, is important.
  • Experience with cloud managed services and storage on platforms like GCP, AWS, or Azure is required.
  • Candidates should have experience with developer experience tools, including CI/CD pipelines and containerization in production environments.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Go, Ruby, or Python is a plus, but candidates from other languages are also welcome.
  • Knowledge of DevOps tools such as Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and monitoring tools like Grafana, Prometheus, or Datadog is essential.
