Description:
The Solutions Architect will act as a liaison between Enterprise customers and Cloud Engineers at Poolside.
This role involves onboarding new customers to ensure they can install, manage, and monitor Poolside's platform effectively.
The Solutions Architect will work with customers to deliver a scalable Poolside product by customizing deployment scripts to fit specific customer infrastructure requirements.
Responsibilities include supporting the engineering team in designing and implementing performant, secure, and scalable solutions while building a standard Poolside platform.
The role requires collaboration with customers to adapt cloud architecture to their needs while ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
The Solutions Architect will create and maintain comprehensive documentation for architectures, configurations, procedures, and customer interactions.
Leading the troubleshooting and resolution of complex technical issues is a key responsibility, providing timely and effective solutions.
The position requires comfort with distributed systems, including data pipelines, distributed processing, fault tolerance, and performance optimization.
Requirements:
Candidates must have experience collaborating with customers to adapt cloud architecture while ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
A strong background in creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for architectures, configurations, procedures, and customer interactions is required.
Experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues is essential.
Candidates should be comfortable with distributed systems, including data pipelines, message queues, and cloud services such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
Experience with developer experience tools, including CI/CD pipelines and containerization in production environments, is necessary.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Go, Ruby, or Python is a plus, but candidates from other languages are also welcome.
Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and monitoring tools like Grafana, Prometheus, or Datadog is required.
