Description:
Smartcar is seeking a Solutions Architect II to join their team remotely in the United Kingdom.
The role involves owning technical validation within the sales process and post-signature implementation for mid-market and enterprise customers.
Responsibilities include leading customer training sessions on technical concepts, facilitating the creation of QBR materials, and establishing confidence in recommendations through product expertise.
The Solutions Architect will support the enterprise sales team by understanding complex customer business problems and translating them into solutions.
The position requires identifying and implementing improvements to existing support and success collateral.
Collaboration with engineering, sales, marketing, and design teams is essential to relay customer feedback and prioritize product updates.
Requirements:
Candidates should have 5-11 years of B2B experience in Sales or Success Engineering at a SaaS company selling complex solutions to technical teams.
Familiarity with API concepts and functionality is required, along with the ability to propose best practices and aid in debugging.
An understanding of SQL and at least one scripting language is necessary.
Candidates should be familiar with the software development lifecycle and have experience working with agile or waterfall methodologies.
A data-driven mindset is essential, with the ability to operate autonomously in ambiguous situations.
Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills are required to earn the trust of product managers and engineers.

The position offers a base salary determined by years of experience, ranging from £57,000 to £100,000.
