Description:

  • Smartcar is seeking a Solutions Architect II to join their team remotely in the United Kingdom.
  • The role involves owning technical validation within the sales process and post-signature implementation for mid-market and enterprise customers.
  • Responsibilities include leading customer training sessions on technical concepts, facilitating the creation of QBR materials, and establishing confidence in recommendations through product expertise.
  • The Solutions Architect will support the enterprise sales team by understanding complex customer business problems and translating them into solutions.
  • The position requires identifying and implementing improvements to existing support and success collateral.
  • Collaboration with engineering, sales, marketing, and design teams is essential to relay customer feedback and prioritize product updates.

Requirements:

  • Candidates should have 5-11 years of B2B experience in Sales or Success Engineering at a SaaS company selling complex solutions to technical teams.
  • Familiarity with API concepts and functionality is required, along with the ability to propose best practices and aid in debugging.
  • An understanding of SQL and at least one scripting language is necessary.
  • Candidates should be familiar with the software development lifecycle and have experience working with agile or waterfall methodologies.
  • A data-driven mindset is essential, with the ability to operate autonomously in ambiguous situations.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills are required to earn the trust of product managers and engineers.
