Description:

  • Join the DoorDash People Technology team as a Solutions Architect, Workday Security, where you will play a key role in building simple experiences with technology.
  • You will work closely with business partners to drive key business decisions and innovate in critical tools such as Workday.
  • This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and scalable security architectures for the People organization.
  • You will develop and implement comprehensive data architectures for HR systems, including data models, dictionaries, and data lineage solutions.
  • Collaborate with process owners to establish and enforce data security policies, protocols, and procedures to protect sensitive HR data.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of new Workday Security functionality while managing the internal Workday Security team.
  • Provide guidance and subject matter expertise on security, data, and reporting capabilities and limitations.
  • Create an 18-month security roadmap and data classification modeling.
  • Act as a Workday Security subject matter expert, solving complex problems while ensuring data security.
  • Support system troubleshooting, configuration, testing, and deployment of assigned applications to meet requirements and timelines.

Requirements:

  • You must have 5-7 years of work experience in HRIS implementation/configuration, both domestically and internationally.
  • Extensive experience in one or more Workday HCM modules such as Core HCM, Payroll, Time & Labor, Compensation, Talent Management, and Absence Management is required.
  • Experience as a lead consultant on Workday HCM projects is a plus.
  • Current certification in Workday HCM is a plus.
  • You should be self-motivated and a rapid learner.
  • An outcomes-oriented mindset is essential, with a focus on evaluating team activities for measurable impact.
  • You must possess a BA/BS degree in quantitative or business fields, or equivalent work experience.
  • An analytical mindset and a “People First” mentality are necessary, with the ability to work through complex problems using data.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills are required.
  • You should be comfortable in a fast-paced, continually changing team-oriented environment and able to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.

  • The base salary for this position ranges from $98,600 to $145,000 USD, depending on job-related factors such as skills, experience, and work location.
