Remote Solutions Engineer

Description:

• As a Solutions Engineer, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between Sales and Technology.
• You will work closely with National Account Executives and Partner Managers to understand customer needs and translate them into tailored solutions.
• Your responsibilities will include configuring demo environments and scoping complex integrations.
• You will serve as a technical expert and trusted advisor throughout the sales cycle.
• Key responsibilities include collaborating with National Account Executives and Partner Managers to manage and interpret customer business and technical requirements.
• You will configure and maintain software demonstration environments.
• Delivering compelling software demonstrations via web and in-person meetings will be part of your role.
• You will provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education to prospects.
• Answering business and technical inquiries related to product capabilities and application security will be required.
• You will write technical and functional content for RFP responses.
• Scoping and defining custom work such as API integrations or feature requests, and developing workflow and process diagrams in collaboration with customers will be expected.
• Supporting AI-related projects through definition and solutioning will be part of your duties.
• You will partner with Account Management to ensure smooth transitions from Sales to Operations, contributing to Account Plans.
• Serving as a liaison between Sales, Product, and other technical departments will be essential.
• You may be assigned other duties as needed.

Requirements:

• You must have previous experience as a Sales Engineer, ideally in a SaaS environment.
• A working knowledge of the background screening industry is preferred.
• You should have a functional understanding of APIs and browser-based integrations.
• System Requirements include having at least 15mbps for the main internet and at least 10mbps for backup.
• You need a desktop or laptop that has an i5 processor with at least 8 GB RAM and an i3 processor for backup.
• Note that backups should still be able to function when there is a power interruption.
• A webcam is required.
• You must have a noise-canceling USB headset.
• A quiet, dedicated home office is necessary.
• A smartphone is also required.
