Description:
As a Solutions Engineer, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between Sales and Technology.
You will work closely with National Account Executives and Partner Managers to understand customer needs and translate them into tailored solutions.
Your responsibilities will include configuring demo environments and scoping complex integrations.
You will serve as a technical expert and trusted advisor throughout the sales cycle.
Key responsibilities include collaborating with National Account Executives and Partner Managers to manage and interpret customer business and technical requirements.
You will configure and maintain software demonstration environments.
Delivering compelling software demonstrations via web and in-person meetings will be part of your role.
You will provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education to prospects.
Answering business and technical inquiries related to product capabilities and application security will be required.
You will write technical and functional content for RFP responses.
Scoping and defining custom work such as API integrations or feature requests, and developing workflow and process diagrams in collaboration with customers will be expected.
Supporting AI-related projects through definition and solutioning will be part of your duties.
You will partner with Account Management to ensure smooth transitions from Sales to Operations, contributing to Account Plans.
Serving as a liaison between Sales, Product, and other technical departments will be essential.
You may be assigned other duties as needed.
Requirements:
You must have previous experience as a Sales Engineer, ideally in a SaaS environment.
A working knowledge of the background screening industry is preferred.
You should have a functional understanding of APIs and browser-based integrations.
System Requirements include having at least 15mbps for the main internet and at least 10mbps for backup.
You need a desktop or laptop that has an i5 processor with at least 8 GB RAM and an i3 processor for backup.
Note that backups should still be able to function when there is a power interruption.
A webcam is required.
You must have a noise-canceling USB headset.
A quiet, dedicated home office is necessary.
A smartphone is also required.
