Description:

Vanta is seeking a Solutions Engineer to lead technical discussions with key prospects and customers.
The role involves ensuring customers can utilize Vanta to its fullest potential to support their security goals.
The Solutions Engineer will be a vital part of the Sales team, working both pre and post-sales to ensure technical fit and create innovative solutions.
Responsibilities include owning the technical relationship with customers, developing a deep understanding of product capabilities, and providing market feedback to the product team.
The engineer will support customers during their trial process, build product examples and documentation, and cultivate a collaborative environment.
The role requires creatively identifying and driving new programs to enhance the pre to post-sales transition.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 2+ years of customer-facing, technical experience as a solutions engineer, sales engineer, or equivalent title.
Previous B2B SaaS experience is required.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, and operating systems (Windows, MacOS, Linux) is necessary.
Strong project management skills and the ability to operate in a startup environment are essential.
Candidates should be creative, technical, persuasive, detail-oriented, and organized.
A general knowledge of a scripting language (Python, Ruby, Bash, JavaScript) and a desire to expand those skills is required.
Familiarity with REST API development and service integrations is a plus.
Ideally, candidates should have prior experience in the cybersecurity space.
