Description:

  • The Sales Engineer at WitnessAI will be responsible for bridging the gap between customers and sales, product, and engineering teams.
  • Key responsibilities include understanding customer requirements, providing technical expertise during the sales process, assisting with product deployment, and ensuring firewall solutions meet security needs.
  • The role requires a deep understanding of sales and technical aspects, particularly in network security and product implementation.
  • Responsibilities also include conducting product demonstrations, assisting with deployment and optimization, providing technical support, and maintaining detailed technical documentation.
  • The Sales Engineer will collaborate with the product development team, stay updated on industry trends, train junior team members, and build strong customer relationships.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in a technical role with a focus on customer interaction.
  • Strong understanding of network security, experience with configuring firewalls, and other security technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with product deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting in enterprise environments.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and familiarity with networking concepts.
  • Experience with scripting or automation tools is a plus, industry certifications are desirable.
