Description:
As a Solutions Engineer at CommandBar, you will be the initial technical contact for prospective customers, providing exceptional technical assistance and support throughout their sales and customer journey.
You will collaborate closely with the Sales, Customer Success, and Engineering teams to architect the successful deployment of CommandBar within customers' products, diagnose and resolve customer issues, enhance product functionality, and contribute to the startup's growth.
Working alongside Support Engineer Matthew, you will own the end-to-end customer onboarding process, from sales evaluation to full implementation, ensuring seamless integration and customer success.
Your responsibilities will include understanding customers' technical needs, supporting customers by providing necessary resources for success, identifying bottlenecks in the onboarding process, and serving as a subject matter expert to enhance user experience.
You will report internally on trends, customer stories, and common issues to drive continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in a sales/solution/customer engineering role or equivalent customer-centric technical position.
Strong technical skills to quickly understand customers' engineering stacks, assist in setting up CommandBar, and debug implementations.
Full stack experience, including proficiency in frontend technologies like Javascript (React) and backend development to set up API endpoints.
Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot effectively under pressure.
Willingness to learn new frameworks and enhance technical skills to collaborate effectively with world-class engineers.
Comfort providing support across multiple channels such as Slack, email, in-app chat, virtual calls, Linear, and GitHub.
Strong written communication skills, especially in explaining technical issues.
Sense of urgency, good prioritization skills, and excitement about supporting software companies.
