Description:
The Solutions Engineer role at Pagos is responsible for linking cutting-edge payment solutions to customer needs and demonstrating the unique value of the products.
This position involves implementing tailored solutions that exceed customer expectations.
The Solutions Engineer will engage directly with clients to ensure their requirements are met with precision and innovation.
The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Commercial, Product, and Engineering, to enhance product offerings and operational excellence.
Key responsibilities include playing a role in the full lifecycle of customer acquisition, from presales to implementation.
The Solutions Engineer will conduct compelling value-focused demonstrations of all Pagos products to foster customer engagement and drive adoption.
Acting as a subject matter expert on Pagos products, the Solutions Engineer will serve as a payments solution thought partner alongside cross-functional teams.
The role includes managing a pre-sales delivery process and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
The Solutions Engineer will use customer feedback and data-backed insights to represent the voice of the customer in roadmap and prioritization planning.
Additionally, the Solutions Engineer will partner with Account Management to support the expansion of product adoption with existing customers.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing consultative pre-sales role, with a proven track record in managing and delivering complex technical solutions.
Strong interpersonal skills are required to develop and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders while navigating technical challenges.
Excellent communication skills are necessary to articulate technical requirements, update documentation, and gather feedback from a variety of stakeholders.
An understanding of and experience with APIs/SDKs is essential, along with the ability to communicate and demonstrate the implementation of API products.
Nice to haves include prior experience within fintech and/or payment solutions, experience working in high-growth, venture-backed startup(s), and experience working in Data Analytics or data visualization platforms.
