Description:
NetBox Labs is seeking a Solutions Engineer with 3+ years of direct enterprise SE experience or 5+ years of total experience.
The role involves acquiring and growing new customers and reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer.
Responsibilities include collaborating with Account Executives to design and implement account-specific strategies, qualifying prospects for technical fit, and improving win rates.
The Solutions Engineer will champion the technical positioning of NetBox Labs products during customer engagements, educate customers and prospects, and run technical product demonstrations and proofs of concept.
Analyzing and understanding customer and prospect technical environments, use cases, requirements, and challenges is essential.
The role requires translating technical aspects of an environment and product solution into “big picture” value statements and “technical win” strategies in conjunction with Sales.
The Solutions Engineer will design, set success criteria, and run playbooks and proofs of concept to drive technical wins with prospects.
Acting as a liaison and voice of the customer among product development, marketing, sales, and delivery teams is crucial, along with providing thoughtful customer technical feedback to the product team.
Staying updated on new product features, complementary tools, and competitor solutions is necessary.
The role also involves assisting customer success and product teams with post-sales troubleshooting and account expansion as needed.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 1+ years of experience selling enterprise SaaS or Open Source SaaS offerings to Network Engineering teams or other technical Enterprise buyers.
A minimum of 2+ years of experience working in a fast-paced startup environment is preferred.
The ability to discuss and explain complicated technical topics in a clear and easy-to-understand manner is required.
Candidates should be able to articulate the business value of complex, technical enterprise products built on open source technology.
Good project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to run the technical aspects of complex enterprise sales engagements are necessary.
A self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently and take ownership of enterprise deals is essential.
Candidates should possess drive and competitiveness, with a strong desire to win.
Strong presentation, written, and verbal communication skills are required.
Experience coding in Python or related languages and using cloud APIs is a significant plus.
