Description:

SuperTokens builds open-source user authentication solutions for developers.
The Solutions Engineer will work with Sales Teams and prospects to evaluate and adopt SuperTokens solutions.
The role involves understanding customer goals and how SuperTokens can address those needs.
Responsibilities include assisting in the Sales process through technical discovery, technical demos, Proof of Concept (POC), and RFP responses.
The Solutions Engineer will engage in deep technical discussions around APIs, SDKs, and security frameworks such as OAuth, OpenID Connect, and JWTs.
The position requires distilling and advocating for customer interests, needs, and product feedback to relay to Product and Engineering teams.
Continuous learning and skill updates are necessary to stay aware of industry trends in Identity and Access Management (IAM) and authentication.
The role includes tracking and reporting key success metrics like customer adoption rates, technical issue resolution time, and successful POCs.

Requirements:

Candidates should have 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Engineer, Solutions Architect, consultant, or Product Manager, ideally in the SaaS space.
Previous software development experience is required.
Great oral and written communication skills are essential.
Candidates must possess superior organizational skills to manage multiple customers and switch contexts quickly throughout the day.
A strong obsession with solving customer problems is necessary.
Experience in early-stage start-ups and the ability or desire to wear many hats is preferred.
