As a Solutions Engineer, you will support sales and customer success efforts for high-volume clients, including large D2C merchants and managed D2M accounts.
You will collaborate with the sales team to offer technical expertise to prospects and clients.
Your responsibilities include understanding client business requirements and designing solutions using the Shippo API.
You will assist in delivering product demonstrations and technical presentations to clients.
You will help develop proposals and statements of work, as well as proof-of-concept solutions to showcase Shippo's capabilities.
You will create and drive customer onboarding plans and collaborate with sales, product, and engineering teams for smooth integration.
You will capture and share product feedback to enhance the offering and contribute to technical documentation and training materials.
Staying informed about industry trends and emerging technologies is essential for enhancing your technical skills.

Requirements:

You must be able to clearly articulate technical issues and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience in identifying, diagnosing, and resolving API-related issues is required to ensure smooth integration and performance.
A strong understanding of SQL for querying databases and troubleshooting data-related issues is necessary.
You should be able to effectively explain API-related issues to customers, providing clear and actionable solutions.
The ability to read and understand Python code for debugging and issue identification is required.
Bonus points if you have prior working experience in Shipping, eCommerce, or a Warehouse/3PL environment.

The standard base pay range for this role is between $127,000 and $172,000 annually, with offers typically anchored around the midpoint of $150,000.
Total compensation includes equity, medical, dental, vision, and other benefits as outlined in Shippo's package section.
