Algolia is seeking passionate and industrious Solutions Engineers to join their hyper-growth business and market.
The Solutions Engineer plays a critical role in the go-to-market team, working closely with sales and solutions organizations to drive technical success and revenue attainment.
Responsibilities include delivering technical wins and product fit on opportunities and accounts, leading technical pre-sales relationships, demonstrating the product and architecture, overcoming objections, and offering creative solutions.
The role requires engaging with engineers, product managers, and CTOs, and distilling technical concepts into business value for various buyers.
Solutions Engineers advocate for customer interests towards product development, create compelling technical content, and work on cross-company initiatives.
The position involves working with sales teams and prospects on evaluating and adopting Algolia solutions, understanding customer goals, assisting in the sales process, and ensuring successful onboarding with Solution Architects and Customer Success teams.
Requirements:
Candidates should have 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role, ideally in the SaaS space.
Previous software development experience in relevant areas is required.
Great oral and written communication skills are essential.
Candidates must possess superior organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple customers and competing demands.
A strong obsession with solving customer problems is necessary.
Experience in a high-growth environment with $150-300M+ ARR is preferred.
Nice to have: a background in the search industry or e-commerce, specific knowledge in frameworks like Magento, Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Commercetools, and knowledge in Analytics and SEO.

The position offers a competitive annual total cash compensation range of $117,500 - $165,000 USD, reflecting US market pay data.
