Remote Solutions Engineer

Description:

• As a Solutions Engineer at Vanta, you will lead technical discussions with key prospects and customers to ensure they can fully utilize Vanta for their security goals.
• You will work closely with the Sales team both pre and post-sales to guarantee technical fit and develop innovative solutions for customers.
• Your focus on customer needs will drive rapid onboarding completion and adoption, leading to improved retention and overall success.
• Responsibilities include owning the technical relationship with customers, understanding product capabilities, providing market feedback to the product team, supporting customers through the trial process, creating product examples and documentation, and driving new programs for sales improvement.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of customer-facing technical experience as a solutions engineer, sales engineer, or equivalent.
• Previous experience in B2B SaaS.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, and operating systems like Windows, MacOS, and Linux, along with cloud application architecture.
• Strong project management skills in a startup environment.
• Creativity, technical skills, persuasiveness, detail-orientation, and organization.
• Familiarity with scripting languages like Python, Ruby, Bash, and JavaScript, with a willingness to expand those skills.
• Strong knowledge of REST API development and service integrations is a plus.
• Ideally, prior experience in the cybersecurity space.
