Description:

The Solutions Engineer will partner with Account Executives to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder deal cycles with C-level executives.
This role involves creating and demonstrating custom environments based on customer industry and line of business.
The Solutions Engineer will run and manage a technical proof of concept (POC) cycle.
Customer-facing activities will include conducting technical discovery calls.
The position requires leading security-based conversations to ensure customers are comfortable with Glean’s security posture.
The Solutions Engineer will work cross-functionally with product and engineering teams to deliver customer requests and represent the voice of the customer.
Developing ROI and business justification reports and presentations is also a key responsibility.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of sales engineering or solution consulting experience in a SaaS organization.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
The ideal candidate should be a highly motivated, driven, and self-starting individual.
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment is necessary.
Clear examples of partnering with Account Executives to run technical deal cycles with Enterprise customers are required.
A consultative approach to solving customer business challenges and a track record of successfully overcoming technical and security objections are important.
Familiarity with any cloud environment (GCP, AWS, Azure) is needed.
Proficiency in Python or Java is required.
The candidate must have the ability to configure, monitor, and maintain API-based integrations.
