Remote Solutions Engineer - EMEA

Description:

• Pinecone is seeking a Solutions Engineer for the EMEA region to contribute to building search and database technology for AI applications.
• The role involves collaborating with the sales team and channel partners to understand customer needs, strategize sales cycles, provide value-based demonstrations, support Proof of Concepts, and close business deals.
• The Solutions Engineer will present Pinecone technology to both officials and technical contributors, demonstrate the value of the technology throughout the sales cycle, and stay updated on industry trends and competitive technologies.
• Collaboration with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing teams is essential to enhance Pinecone's products and marketing strategies.

Requirements:

• Candidates should have 5-7 years of enterprise experience with at least 3 years in a pre-sales environment.
• Excellent presentation skills for technical and executive audiences, proficiency in large-scale Database and Data Warehouse technology, ETL, analytics, and cloud technologies are required.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and SQL analytics, ability to connect customer business problems with Pinecone's solutions, and familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP are preferred.
• A university degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields is preferred, and skills in Data Science and Data Applications Development (Scala, Python, JavaScript) are considered a bonus.
