The Solutions Engineer at Ashby will be integral to the sales efforts with Mid-Market and Enterprise customers, collaborating closely with Account Executives to achieve both technical and commercial success.
The role involves demonstrating how Ashby meets unique customer needs and showcasing the platform's transformative capabilities in hiring.
Responsibilities include delivering personalized product demonstrations, facilitating structured product trials, and coordinating insightful RFP responses.
Success in this position requires strong discovery skills, empathy for customers, and the ability to articulate the business impact of Ashby’s solutions.
The role is designed for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy solving complex problems.
Requirements:
Candidates must have experience as a Sales Engineer or Solutions Consultant supporting complex, multi-stakeholder SaaS sales cycles in a team-selling environment.
A background working with HR or Talent teams is essential, along with a high level of empathy for their daily challenges.
Applicants should possess deep product expertise across a suite of solutions and be recognized as subject-matter experts by their peers.
A passion for learning and the ability to connect new concepts with business outcomes is required.
Mastery of clear communication is necessary, including the ability to ask precise questions and explain complex concepts simply.
Candidates should be proactive in engaging with Account Executives to progress deals and be able to translate customer feedback into product enhancements.
Familiarity with recruiting workflows and data in Applicant Tracking Systems, demo infrastructure or engineering experience, and value engineering or consulting experience are considered bonuses.
