Description:

  • We are adding to our pre-sales engineering team, reporting directly to our Vice President of Sales.
  • You will be instrumental in adding value to our customers and assisting our sales team with technical scoping and differentiation.
  • The company has a great product and an impressive roster of ‘name-brand’ customers, and is looking to scale the business rapidly.
  • This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated technical sales professional to greatly impact the business.
  • Responsibilities include partnering with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide technical sales support for strategic deals in complex sales cycles.
  • You will prepare and deliver technical presentations that explain products and services to customers.
  • You will lay technical traps against the competition and maintain demo system infrastructure, utilizing new product release information from Engineering.
  • You will facilitate proof of concept pilots for prospective customers, working collaboratively with Sales.
  • The role requires working cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, and Customer Success to support customer delivery and technical scoping for the entire project lifecycle.
  • You will manage all technical aspects of RFP, Security Review, and RFI responses.
  • You will be our technology expert and advise customers on leveraging Oomnitza, the Technology Database, Reporting, Dashboards, and Workflows to automate the technology management process.

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience of at least 3-5 years as a Sales Engineer in a SaaS organization is required.
  • A proven track record supporting complex enterprise solutions for a Sales team is necessary.
  • The ability to forge strong, long-lasting relationships with senior executives is essential.
  • You must be able to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy to understand manner.
  • A solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies (cloud architecture, API Integrations) is required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
  • You should possess excellent presentation and creativity skills.
