Description:
The Solutions Engineer II plays a key role in supporting the sales team, partnerships, and customers through technical and domain expertise.
This role requires deep technical acumen and a thorough understanding of commerce best practices to deliver solutions that meet clients' business needs.
Responsibilities include supporting the sales team with technical aspects of the sales processes, configuring and maintaining demo environments, troubleshooting technical issues, and partnering with clients to understand their business requirements.
The Solutions Engineer will deliver bespoke demonstration scenarios, develop proofs of concept (POCs), and become an expert on fabric products and related ecosystem technologies.
Additional tasks include writing technical responses to RFP/RFQ/RFIs, contributing to product documentation, and communicating customer feedback to product and engineering teams.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or an equivalent degree is required.
Candidates must have 3+ years of experience as an eCommerce Solutions Engineer or in a similar technical role within the eCommerce domain.
A strong understanding of eCommerce platforms and/or Order Management Systems such as Shopify, Magento, Commercetools, and Salesforce Commerce Cloud is essential.
Expertise in working with REST APIs and related tools like Postman is required.
Understanding of front-end web development frameworks such as React, Next.js, and Vue.js is necessary.
Candidates should have the ability to set up test automation scripts using technologies like Selenium.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing technical challenges are crucial.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are needed to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with project management tools and methodologies, as well as leading Content Management products and tools, is a plus.
