Description:

We are looking for a SingleStore Solutions Engineer who is passionate about removing data bottlenecks for customers and enabling real-time data capabilities to address complex data challenges in the industry.
In this role, you will work directly with sales teams and channel partners to identify customer pain points where SingleStore can provide solutions.
You will deliver value-based demonstrations, presentations, and support proof of concepts to validate proposed solutions.
The Solutions Engineer team at SingleStore is composed of skilled individuals who work with the latest technologies to ensure that SingleStore meets customer needs.
The team thrives on collaboration and determination, building cutting-edge deployments of SingleStore data architectures for strategic customers.
You will engage with current and prospective clients to understand their technical and business challenges and present the SingleStore product offering to Fortune 500 companies.
You will provide valuable feedback to product teams based on client interactions and stay updated with database technologies and SingleStore product offerings.

Requirements:

A minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical pre-sales role is required.
A broad range of experience within large-scale database and/or data warehousing technologies is necessary.
Excellent presentation and communication skills are essential, with experience presenting to large corporate organizations.
Experience with Kubernetes and Linux is required.
The ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences is necessary.
A strong team player with interpersonal skills is essential.
Preferred experience includes data engineering tools such as Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, and ETL tools like Talend or Informatica.
A 'next generation' personality with experience in Cloud and AI is preferred.
Experience with cutting-edge Cloud products or companies is beneficial.
Demonstrated proficiency in ANSI SQL query languages is required.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Scala, or Java is necessary.
An understanding of private and public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, and VMware is required.
