Description:

The Solutions Engineer at SingleStore is responsible for removing data bottlenecks for customers and enabling real-time data capabilities.
This role involves working directly with sales teams and channel partners to identify customer pain points where SingleStore can provide solutions.
The engineer will deliver value-based demonstrations, presentations, and support proof of concepts to validate proposed solutions.

Requirements:

A minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical pre-sales role is required.
Candidates should have a broad range of experience with large-scale database and/or data warehousing technologies.
Excellent presentation and communication skills are necessary, particularly for presenting to large corporate organizations.
Experience with Kubernetes and Linux is considered a plus.
The ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences is essential.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as a team player are required.
Preferred experience includes data engineering tools such as Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, and ETL tools like Talend or Informatica.
Candidates should have a 'next generation' personality with experience in Cloud and AI.
Experience with cutting-edge Cloud products or companies is preferred.
Proficiency in ANSI SQL query languages is required.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Scala, or Java is necessary.
An understanding of private and public cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP, and VMware is required.
Preferred experience with prompt engineering is also a plus.
