Description:

  • Vanta is seeking a Customer Solutions Engineer to ensure customers receive maximum value from the Vanta Trust Management platform.
  • The role involves partnering with Account Management and Customer Success teams to provide technical expertise and tailored solutions for renewals and increased product adoption.
  • The Solutions Engineer will act as a bridge between the product development team and customers, delivering actionable feedback to improve Vanta's offerings.
  • Responsibilities include identifying and driving renewals and expansion opportunities, building strong technical partnerships, and developing trusted advisor relationships with key accounts.
  • The position requires a deep understanding of product capabilities, integrations, and the competitive landscape.
  • The role emphasizes teamwork, creativity, and continuous improvement while resolving customer business issues and developing scalable processes for the Solutions Engineering organization.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 2+ years of customer-facing, technical experience as a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, or in a similar role.
  • Outstanding communication skills are essential, with the ability to present to both individual contributors and decision-makers.
  • A proven track record of managing multiple projects independently and driving them to completion is required.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, and familiarity with operating systems (Windows, MacOS, Linux) is necessary.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to thrive in a startup environment are important.
  • Candidates should be creative, curious, technical, persuasive, detail-oriented, and organized.
  • The ability to engage with various roles within an organization, including technical and security-minded individuals as well as executives, is crucial.
  • Familiarity with REST API development and service integrations is a plus, and prior B2B SaaS experience is ideal.
