Description:

  • The role of Solutions Engineer (SE) involves supporting Sales & Success organizations to develop and implement strategies for enhancing customer performance and outcomes.
  • Responsibilities include assisting customers, Account Executives, and Customer Success Managers with the discovery, analysis, and recommendation of strategic solutions tailored to various industries and segments.
  • The SE will work in a dynamic environment, leveraging expertise in design, business consulting, and technology to drive customer success and annual contract value (ACV).
  • The position requires collaboration with Sales and Success account teams to execute growth strategies that lead to customer success and revenue growth.
  • The SE will prepare for customer engagements, work cross-functionally with stakeholders, and report on sales activity and forecasts to the Head of Solutions Engineering.
  • The role is crucial for impacting Zeotap's growth, requiring mastery in internal and external engagements while keeping the customer at the center of all activities.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 5-10 years of field experience in supporting sales functions as a Solutions Engineer or Solutions Consultant, specifically in digital advertising and marketing technologies such as DMP, CDP, CMP, and CRM solutions.
  • A successful history of creating market opportunities and the ability to sell and solution in various settings, from C-suite to industry events, is essential.
  • The position is remote, but candidates must be based in the UK.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory, and knowledge of an additional language is a plus.
  • Candidates should possess strong business acumen to engage at all business levels and translate business problems into software solutions.
  • Technical acumen is required, including understanding user research and online consumer behavior.
  • Proven experience in leading strategy and digital roadmap projects in complex environments is necessary.
  • Consultative selling skills are essential, focusing on customer requirements and long-term technology roadmaps.
  • Attributes such as being a change agent, having prospecting skills, being a compelling communicator, urgency, competitive spirit, and being resourceful are important.
  • Candidates should be collaborative, coachable, and have a passion for learning.
