Remote Solutions Engineer - Zero Trust - Public Sector CivFed/Fed

Description:

• The Solutions Engineer will work with clients in the public sector to understand their business needs and current applications landscape to develop a security posture using Cloudflare One's Zero Trust solutions.
• Responsibilities include guiding prospects through Solution Design and Proof of Concept stages, achieving Pipeline and Revenue goals, understanding customer IT landscape and security requirements, articulating the benefits of Cloudflare One, and promoting retention by communicating product gaps.
• The role involves working closely with Account Executives, generalist SEs, and various teams at Cloudflare.
• The position requires technical knowledge in cyber security trends, customer network and application architectures, SASE concepts, Zero Trust Networking architectures, and various security solutions like Secure Web Gateway, CASB, DLP, DNS, and VPN.
• Other desirable skills include knowledge of routing, SD-WAN, end-user and application security risks, and competitive market analysis in CDN providers, Firewalls, and remote access solutions.

Requirements:

• Curiosity and Learning Agility
• Minimum 3 years of prior Technical Sales, Systems Engineering, or related experience
• Experience interacting with senior level/executives in network and security transformation
• Familiarity with cyber security trends and customer network architectures
• Technical curiosity and passion for staying updated with industry trends
• Understanding of SASE concepts, Zero Trust Networking, and various security solutions
• Ability to manage projects, work to deadlines, and prioritize goals
