Description:
CellCarta is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Specialist for Cloud Operations to join their dynamic team.
The role involves providing level 2/3 technical support for cloud solutions.
Responsibilities include receiving service desk tickets from end users and providing technical support related to cloud environments.
The specialist will manage cloud environments, including cloud networks (VPC), cloud servers, identity and access management, container hosting, storage, and computing environments.
Regular maintenance coordination is required to ensure cloud environments are updated and secure.
The role includes debugging issues related to cloud-hosted environments and implementing corrective measures.
The specialist will compile and implement system design for cloud systems, including deployment via scripting and console mechanisms.
Recommendations will be provided to the IT manager based on reported issues or requests.
Collaboration with vendors or other technical resources to resolve support issues is expected.
The role involves planning and managing the installation, configuration, and upgrading of enterprise software applications hosted on or interacting with cloud solutions.
Maintaining contact with employees until issues are resolved is essential.
Technical assistance and training for users will be provided.
The specialist will create SOPs and change management documentation for new IT systems.
Installation and configuration of operating systems may be required.
Development of systems and tools for asset deployment and management is part of the role.
Updating the inventory of company systems and assets is necessary.
System monitoring, including log reviews, is part of the responsibilities.
Troubleshooting network/telecommunications issues with remote users is expected.
Maintenance and troubleshooting of systems such as SharePoint, Teams, or other applications will be performed.
Script creation (Terraform, Powershell, etc.) is required.
Compliance with company SOPs and identification of non-compliant systems or processes is necessary.
Requirements:
A degree in computer science or a related STEM field is required.
More than 6 years of experience in the IT field is necessary.
Proven experience in administering AWS environments, including deployment, troubleshooting, maintenance, and cost optimization, as well as knowledge of AWS identity management is required.
Strong knowledge of cloud networking/VPC is essential.
Experience in Linux environments is required, with a preference for knowledge in Linux deployment and administration.
Experience with CI/CD deployment techniques and Terraform scripting is preferred.
Familiarity with CloudFormation, Kubernetes, and DevOps tools is preferred.
Experience with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch is preferred.
Experience with Microsoft Azure is a plus.
Excellent customer service skills are required.
Strong communication skills are necessary.
The individual must be independent, resourceful, and possess good problem-solving abilities.
