Description:

True Zero Technologies is seeking a Splunk Engineer to join their team, which is focused on maintaining various clients' Splunk instances.
The role emphasizes data on-boarding, content development, reporting, and visualizations.
Candidates must have prior Splunk engineering and administration experience and meet necessary certification prerequisites.
Experience supporting federal customers is a plus.
As a consultant, the candidate will have access to a comprehensive knowledge base and technical support from the PS team.

Requirements:

Candidates must possess a Splunk Architect Certification.
Experience in designing and implementing distributed Splunk installations, including all server roles (Search Head, Indexers, Heavy Forwarders, and Universal Forwarders).
Advanced configuration experience with Splunk, including Indexer Clustering and Search Head Clustering.
Proven experience in maintaining and administering enterprise Splunk implementations.
Ability to develop custom Splunk content, including scheduled searches, reports, and dashboards.
Proficiency in data on-boarding activities, including custom parsing rules and Technology Add-On building according to Splunk's Common Information Model (CIM).
Experience in configuring indexes, index routing, and retention policies.
Familiarity with Linux and Windows environments, including storage subsystems configuration and SELinux.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to manage customer expectations and track engagement scope.
U.S. Citizenship is required as this position supports a Federal Customer.
