Description:

  • We are looking for a SQL SSIS developer with Healthcare industry experience.
  • The developer will be responsible for the analysis, design, coding, and unit level testing of enhancements, maintenance changes, and new development for application software.
  • This role requires ensuring that programming and design standards, timeframes, and deliverables are met, all under minimal supervision.
  • This is a remote role, and all candidates MUST be authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship.
  • Please note that we do not work C2C.
  • Duties include designing, coding, testing, and implementing changes to existing or new application software and associated components with minimal assistance or direction.
  • The developer will follow all Application Systems Design and Development Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes and procedures.
  • Proper unit level testing must be performed with documentation created and maintained with related artifacts.
  • Participation in inspections and reviews as assigned by MIS management is required.
  • The developer will work with team members or independently to resolve production problems and provide production support for batch and online environments.
  • Assisting in capturing business requirements for application development, enhancement, or modification is part of the role.
  • The developer will prepare programming time estimates and achieve project goals and deliverables within prescribed timeframes.
  • Maintaining project scope on all assignments and informing management of any critical issues affecting project deliverables or scope in a timely manner is essential.
  • Current and correct documentation for all reports and software generated reporting supported by the unit must be maintained.
  • All programming, design, production control, data validation, and quality control standards must be met.
  • Performing peer reviews of co-workers' program code and program/project outputs as assigned by the Manager, Application Systems Design and Development is required.
  • The developer will prepare effective written and oral reports and presentations as requested.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in computer science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent working experience with information technology is required.
  • SQL Server SSIS experience is required.
  • Healthcare industry experience is required.
  • Experience with the HealthRules Payer (HRP) system is a plus.
  • Application development experience, including Azure, is preferred.
  • A minimum of 6 years of programming, design, and analysis experience is required.
  • Candidates should have experience developing relational data models.
  • Experience following SDLC procedures is necessary.
