Description:

• The Sr. AI Applications Engineer at NBC Sports Next will play a crucial role in building, developing, implementing, and optimizing AI solutions to address complex business opportunities.
• Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams to design effective AI solutions, developing and implementing machine learning models using OpenAI technologies, focusing on natural language processing and reinforcement learning.
• The role involves utilizing expertise in vectorization and embeddings for efficient data representation, deploying and managing models within cloud platforms, particularly Azure, staying updated with the latest advancements in AI, troubleshooting and optimizing existing AI models, and integrating AI solutions into existing systems and applications.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• Professional experience with OpenAI technologies, focusing on natural language processing, reinforcement learning, and expertise in vectorization and embeddings is required.
• Familiarity with Azure OpenAI services, cloud platforms, 2+ years of professional experience with programming languages such as Python, and experience with frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch are necessary.
• A solid understanding of machine learning concepts, algorithms, and model deployment best practices, strong problem-solving and analytical skills, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are essential.
