Description:
Lyra Health is seeking a Senior AI/ML Infrastructure Engineer to work remotely and contribute to transforming mental health care through technology.
The role involves collaborating with a team to build scalable infrastructure for training, evaluating, deploying, performing inference, and monitoring ML models.
Responsibilities include developing generative AI services and applications, creating data systems for model features, deploying applications in Kubernetes clusters, and supporting experimentation platforms.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of industry experience in building production-level ML platforms, proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala, and experience with RESTful APIs and containers.
Additional responsibilities include working with stakeholders on ML infrastructure requirements, managing projects, and communicating effectively within the team.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of industry experience building production-level ML platforms and infrastructure, including building ML systems from scratch.
Proficiency in writing high-quality code in Python, Java, or Scala.
Experience in developing production-ready RESTful APIs and scaling platforms to a large user base.
Strong understanding of ML models and principles, along with experience with containers, Kubernetes, LLMs, relational databases, and data transformation.
Ability to learn new technologies quickly, manage large projects, and make quality vs. deadline tradeoffs in fast-paced environments.
Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to simplify complex problems and prioritize effectively.
