Description:
The Sr. Application Developer will join the team for the uAchieve Degree Audit Implementation project, which is part of the campus-wide Student Information System Upgrade initiative.
The selected candidate will assist with the application development workload and enhancement projects within the Advising Applications environment.
The role involves working under the general direction of the team supervisor and a lead developer.
Requirements:
The candidate must assist in the development and enhancement of enterprise-level applications using ASP.NET Web Forms and IIS deployment.
They should utilize object-oriented programming languages, such as C#, to develop robust solutions.
The role requires implementing REST API methods to query complex database systems.
Adherence to security practices, including SSL certificates and common web application security practices, is essential.
The candidate must design and work with complex SQL queries using T-SQL, LINQ, PL/SQL, and stored procedures for data extraction from databases and data warehouses.
Development of technical and operational documentation to support application functionality and upgrades is required.
The candidate must collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines and objectives.
Knowledge of the Family Educational Right to Privacy Act (FERPA) is necessary, along with a willingness to complete standard FERPA training upon hire.
Extensive experience developing enterprise-level applications using ASP.NET Web Forms is required.
