Remote Sr. AWS Cloud Engineer- Cybersecurity

Description:

• The Sr. AWS Cloud Engineer - Cybersecurity will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting the company's information security infrastructure.
• Configuring, implementing, and troubleshooting various cybersecurity devices.
• Monitoring and maintaining cyber tools' health and performance.
• Capacity planning for cybersecurity devices.
• Responding to events/incidents efficiently and professionally.
• Collaborating with team members and business teams to troubleshoot systems.
• Creating and maintaining detailed cybersecurity design documentation.
• Participating in incident response activities and creating reports for various audiences.
• Mentoring junior engineers to enhance their skills.
• Performing job duties in a safe manner and attending work as scheduled.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age and authorized to work in the United States.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant Cloud Security role with a technical degree in computer/information science, or 4 years of experience in a relevant Cloud Security role, or 4 years of related field work experience in Penetration Testing/Application Security.
• Ability to obtain and maintain necessary certifications or licenses.
• 5-7 years of experience in programming languages, cloud-based infrastructure, DevOps practices, cloud providers, data storage technologies, cloud security best practices, and more.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Self-motivated, team player, responsible, and accountable.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to create network/system diagrams and procedures.
• Willingness to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
