Description:
The Sr. AWS Cloud Engineer - Cybersecurity will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting the company's information security infrastructure.
Configuring, implementing, and troubleshooting various cybersecurity devices.
Monitoring and maintaining cyber tools' health and performance.
Capacity planning for cybersecurity devices.
Responding to events/incidents efficiently and professionally.
Collaborating with team members and business teams to troubleshoot systems.
Creating and maintaining detailed cybersecurity design documentation.
Participating in incident response activities and creating reports for various audiences.
Mentoring junior engineers to enhance their skills.
Performing job duties in a safe manner and attending work as scheduled.
Other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years of age and authorized to work in the United States.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant Cloud Security role with a technical degree in computer/information science, or 4 years of experience in a relevant Cloud Security role, or 4 years of related field work experience in Penetration Testing/Application Security.
Ability to obtain and maintain necessary certifications or licenses.
5-7 years of experience in programming languages, cloud-based infrastructure, DevOps practices, cloud providers, data storage technologies, cloud security best practices, and more.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Self-motivated, team player, responsible, and accountable.
Excellent communication skills and ability to create network/system diagrams and procedures.
Willingness to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
