Remote Sr. AWS Developer

Description:

• Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Sr. AWS Developer to help the US federal government enhance national security and improve lives through technology.
• The role is remote and involves designing and building scalable, reliable, and secure AWS Serverless infrastructure.
• The candidate will deploy, manage, and monitor AWS Lambda functions and must have hands-on experience with AWS X Ray and AWS Insight for code instrumentation.
• Responsibilities include troubleshooting and debugging issues with Lambda functions and other AWS Serverless technologies.
• The developer will collaborate closely with the development team to ensure the smooth operation of serverless applications and stay updated on the latest AWS Serverless technologies and best practices.
• A working knowledge of Dynatrace and Splunk is also required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 4+ years of experience working with AWS Serverless technologies, specifically Lambda, Step Functions, and AWS Gateway.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills using AWS native tools such as AWS Xray & Insights, CloudTrail, and CloudWatch Logs are essential.
• Experience with AWS CloudFormation or other infrastructure as code tools is required.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines is necessary.
• A good understanding of security best practices in a serverless environment is expected.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
• US Citizenship is mandatory, and candidates must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance.
